Day 1: Arrival at Bujumbura Airport and drive to Mwaro province
Upon your morning arrival at Bujumbura airport, meet and greet with our office staff/ driver and proceed to your booked accommodation. You will be briefed about your 3 Days Rusizi National Park Wildlife Tour. Check-in your lodge and proceed to visit Agasumoka Mwaro waterfalls. The falls is known as to be where the Burundi people used to worship their traditional god called Kiranga before the emergency of Christianity. Later in the afternoon, you will be driven back to Bujumbura city for leisure and relaxation at your lodge. Day 2: Boat cruise on Rusizi River, visit shores of Lake Tanganyika and village walk
Wake up in the morning ready for breakfast. Drive to Rusizi National park and have a boat cruise on Rusizi River. This is also a day of exploring hippos at a close range, numerous birds and the joint point between Rusizi River and Lake Tanganyika. Proceed to the south, driving through the shores of Lake Tanganyika, visit Livingstone memorial before continuing to Rumonge visit the local villages of fishermen of Rumonge port and fishing site. Here, you will relax at the beach, swim or play beach volley at blue bay. Return at your lodge. Day 3: Transfer to Bujumbura Airport
