Day 1: Kampala – Queen Elizabeth National Park
Meet and greet from your place of stay in Kampala or Entebbe. Our driver guide will take you through the tour program and the daily activities including your booked accommodation for the 4 days wildlife and Gorilla trekking safari. Drive past Kampala suburbs along the Masaka Mbarara highway. Have a stopover at Mpambire drum centre for a brief African history and to view the skilfulness of the local people in making local drums, chairs and other local musical instruments. Proceed to Equator in Kayabwe for a photo stopover and carry out the water experiment where you will have to differentiate the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere. Later, proceed to Mbarara for lunch and a visit to Igongo cultural Museum. This is where the future meets the past as you discover the Ankole Culture and tradition. Drive along the coffee and banana plantations to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, pick the armed ranger guide ready for the early morning game drive on the kasenyi plains, the guide will help you spot several animals including Lions, Elephants, Buffaloes, Hippos, Uganda Kobs, water buck and if you are lucky the leopard and hyena. The afternoon will be spent on a two hours boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. This channel connects the water flow from Lake George to Lake Edward. It is also an opportunity to see hippos, crocodiles, Buffaloes, Elephants and antelopes on the banks of this Channel with very many bird species since it is known to be the birders haven. Dinner and Overnight at Ishasha Wilderness Camp/ Kyambura gorge Lodge (Luxury) or Buffalo Safari Lodge (High end) Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.
Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Kampala
After breakfast, drive via Fort portal tourism city which rests on the fabled mountain rangers of Ruwenzori. Have lunch and proceed to Kampala via Mubende and Mityana town as you enjoy the Uganda landscape. Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch. END OF SERVICE.
