Day 1: Flight from Entebbe Airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our drive guide will pick you from your place of stay in Entebbe or Kampala and drive you to Entebbe International airport. You may choose to fly with the morning or afternoon scheduled flights to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The morning flights depart Entebbe airport at 0705 hours arriving Kisoro at 0830 hours or Kihihi at 0900 hours and afternoon flights leave Entebbe airport at 1205 hours arriving Kihihi at 1330 hours. This 3 days Gorilla trekking and flying safari allows you to save time and experience more attractions to make the most of your vacation; you will spot Lake Victoria on the sky, forests, plantations and peoples homesteads. A fly-in safari will not only give you convenience, but it will also deliver panoramic views of the landscapes. The evening will be spent on relaxation and leisure at your luxury facility. Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking
Have your early morning breakfast ready with your packed lunch and dressed on gorilla trekking attires; the driver guide will be on standby to drive you to the sector headquarters of your splendid Gorilla trekking experience. A warm welcome from the Batwa cultural dancers as they showcase their musical, tradition and dancing skills. You will be briefed by the park warden or ranger guide as he or she groups you into a group of 8 people to be assigned to a specific Gorilla family. The warden will take you through the brief history of the park, also the dos and don’ts of your gorilla trekking experience. You will be escorted by the ranger guide into the forest in search of the mountain Gorillas accompanied by the porters, It may take 2-6 hours depending on where the Mountain Gorillas built their nests the previous day. However, you are entitled to 1 hour of viewing the Mountain Gorillas upon meeting them. View them play, swing on the trees, eating and coupling. The young ones will always want to involve you in their game affair which is the most interesting moment in this encounter. After this gorilla trek experience, return to your lodge for resting and relaxing on your bed. Day 3: Flight from Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip to Entebbe Airport
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airstrip depending on your sector of Gorilla trekking experience. You have two flight options from Kihihi to Entebbe airport and only one flight option from Kisoro airstrips back to Entebbe airport. The morning flight leaves Kisoro at 0845 hours and Kihihi at 0930 hours arriving Entebbe airport at 1125 hours while the afternoon flight leaves Kihihi at 1405 hours arriving Entebbe airport at 1630 hours. On whatever flight you are booked on; our driver guide will be ready to drive you to the airstrip back to Entebbe airport so that you can connect with your flight to the next destination.
