Day 1: Kampala – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (10 hours drive)
You will be picked from your place of stay either in Entebbe town or Kampala and you will be briefed about your 3 Days Gorilla Habituation Experience to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Seated comfortably on 4 x4 safari vehicle, start your 9-10 hours journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park involving several stopovers. Have a stop at Mpambire drum centre for a brief African history and to view the skilfulness of the local people in making local drums, chairs and other local musical instruments. Proceed to Equator in Kayabwe for a photo stopover and carry out the water experiment where you will have to differentiate the northern hemisphere from the southern hemisphere. Later, drive to Mbarara with a lunch stopover at Igongo country and cultural hotel and Museum. This is where the future meets the past as you discover the Ankole Culture. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO world heritage site well known to habit more than 461 Mountain Gorilla individuals, a half of the world’s population found both in Bwindi and Virunga region in East Africa. Day 2: Gorilla Habituation Experience (Spend 4 hours with the Gorillas)
Your gorilla habituation experience starts at 6:00am and you will be escorted with researchers, ranger guide and porters after briefing from the warden. Find gorillas waking up from their nests and enjoy them eat, play, swing on trees and the young ones will always involve you in their affairs. You have 4 hours to spend with the mountain gorillas upon finding them compared to 1 hour of the gorilla trekking. It might take a half a day or full day. After, return to your lodge for leisure and resting. Day 3: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Kampala
Take your morning breakfast ready to return to Kampala or Entebbe town depending on your arrangement. Leave Bwindi as you enjoy the farm lands, landscape while observing the lifestyle of the local people along the way, see the local people carry the food staff and farm produce to the markets from their plantations. Stopover at Mbarara town for lunch with a visit to Igongo Museum to explore the lifestyle of the Ankole people. Proceed to equator for another photo shoot before continuing to Kampala or Entebbe airport to catch up with your late evening flight back home Meal Plan: Breakfast and Lunch. END OF SERVICE.
