Day 1: Arrival at Bujumbura City
Upon your arrival at Bujumbura airport in the morning, meet and greet with our office staff/ driver and proceed to your booked accommodation. Day 2: Water fall tour and visit the source of the Nile
Today is dedicated for a visit to the source of the Nile and Karera falls combined with stunning views of Burundi scenic landscape and tea plantations. Enjoy the best views Burundi has got to offer. Later on, you will be driven to Gitege town, the second and colonial capital of Burundi after Bujumbura city. Visit the Gitega National Museum, Administrative offices catholic location of Mushasha and different local schools. Day 3: Gitega- Gishora Tour
Relaxed breakfast at your hotel then you will have a visit to the well known drum sanctuary site in Gishora which is part of Burundi. The drum sanctuary site is known for having two ritual drums that were never beaten and they are known as Ruciteme and Murimirwa. These two names are connected to the farming vocation and they mean fertility in the local language in Burundi. You will also explore the customs and cultural traditions in drum sanctuary of Gishora.
